FAQs

Frequently asked questions

What is the consent process?

Patients are only enrolled into a clinical trial once an informed consent form has been signed. This form clearly defines what will happen on the study, the process involved for ending the study early and the rights of the patient. For the RELYON study, there is both an informed consent form, which the parents/caregivers will sign, and an informed assent form which the children will sign. The latter is a form directed to children, which explains the clinical trial in clear and easy-to-understand language.

Is there a cost for participation in the RELYON study?

There is no cost involved with participation, medical tests and the study drug, in the REYLON study.
